Queen Camilla may have unintentionally sparked speculation about her relationship with Melania Trump following her recent visit to the White House in April.
During president Donald Trump and Melania’s U.K. state visit last September, the couple reportedly gifted Queen Camilla a Tiffany & Co. brooch valued at approximately $40,700. When King Charles and Queen Camilla visited the United States last month, Camilla appeared to honor the gift by wearing the brooch during the royal couple’s farewell moment with the Trumps.

Queen Camilla Swaps Brooch Gifted By Melania Trump
The mid-20th-century floral piece, crafted in 18k gold and adorned with rubies and diamonds, stood out during the appearance. However, shortly after leaving the White House for a visit to Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, Camilla swapped the Tiffany brooch for a historic Cartier piece dating back to 1957 that had been passed down from Queen Elizabeth II. The heirloom features both the U.S. and U.K. flags, yet the switch up prompted online speculation about why the gifted brooch was replaced so quickly.
Speaking to the Irish Star, astrology expert Tracy Higgs weighed in on the reported dynamic between the First Lady and Camilla and how the gesture may have been interpreted.
“Astrologically, Melania Trump and Queen Camilla are actually more compatible than many people might expect,” Higgs revealed. “Melania is a Taurus and Camilla is a Cancer — two signs that often value loyalty, privacy, and stability over theatrics or attention-seeking.”

She continued, “I personally feel there’s a mutual understanding between them when it comes to duty and public pressure. Neither woman strikes me as somebody who enjoys unnecessary drama, and both appear incredibly aware of image, presentation, and self-control.”
Addressing the brooch swap specifically, Higgs added, “When it comes to reports of Camilla apparently putting aside or ‘ditching’ Melania’s gift, Taurus personalities do tend to notice gestures and manners deeply — even if they never openly react to them.”
“I don’t believe Melania would make a public issue of it, but internally she may well have seen it as lacking warmth or appreciation,” she said. “Taurus rarely forgets moments that feel dismissive, especially when effort, symbolism, or respect are involved.”
Still, Higgs noted that Melania’s personality would likely keep any feelings private. “Melania’s energy also feels extremely controlled and diplomatic, so I think any feelings about it would remain very private,” she concluded.
The two women first spent significant time together during the Trumps’ state visit to the U.K. in late 2025 along with Kate Middleton. During King Charles and Queen Camilla’s subsequent U.S. state visit, they also took part in several joint engagements together. One notable appearance included Melania hosting Queen Camilla at the White House, where they met with young students learning how artificial intelligence and virtual reality technology are being used in education.
