Melania Trump has been known to split her time between the White House and her penthouse in New York City, but new reports are claiming that the First Lady wants to move out of the White House all together, taking up permanent residence in Trump Tower, near where their son, Barron, attends college. This does nothing to quell the rumors that she and Donald Trump live completely “separate” lives. Keep reading for more information.

Melania Trump Wants To Move To New York
According to Rob Shuter, Melania has never wanted to make the White House her home, and would prefer to stay in New York City full time. "D.C. was always temporary in her mind," a source told the gossip columnist. "Melania is a New York woman."
While Melania has seemingly been splitting her time between the White House, New York, and their Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, being on-the-go might be wearing her down. Another speculated reason for the move is Melania's reported new business venture.
Now that she's done with her self-titled documentary, Melania is reportedly thinking of launching a personal luxury brand, also self-titled. The line would include premium fragrances, skincare products, luxury home goods, fashion items, and collectibles. "This is about turning Melania into a global luxury brand," the source explained. "New York is where that happens—not Washington."

Donald Trump & Melania Trump Are Living Separate Lives
This report doesn't help the rumors that Donald and Melania Trump are living separate lives despite being married and sharing a son together. Last year, author Michael Wolff told theDaily Beast Podcast that they're effectively "separated" and "live separate lives."
This speculation is fueled by instances of Melania rarely attending events alongside her husband, spending time at her New York residence rather that at the White House or their Mar-a-Lago resort, and ultimately looking disinterested with one another when they are together. Though the White House responded to Wolff's claims by calling him a "lying sack of s***" and "a fraud," the rumors continue to spread.
