Melania Trump turned heads with her latest polished appearance as she stepped off Air Force One alongside President Donald Trump in Florida, where the couple headed to spend the weekend at Mar-a-Lago.

The First Lady looked effortlessly chic in a color-block coat from Mackage, featuring a rich chocolate brown base with black and beige accents. She paired the statement outerwear with sleek black pants and finished the look with brown-tinted sunglasses. Meanwhile, Trump opted for a classic suit styled with a blue tie.

Fans online couldn’t get enough of her outfit, flooding social media with praise. “OMG that coat is fabulous!!!!” one user wrote, while others added, “Stunner!” and “What a beautiful coat.” Another fan commented, “That coat tho,” while someone else summed it up with, “Fabulous outfit—Melania always perfect.”

The mother of one has continued to draw praise for her fashion choices throughout her second term, consistently stepping out in polished skirt suits, tailored pantsuits, and statement printed trousers paired with simple tops. At times, she’s also embraced bolder, less traditional colors—like the striking yellow and purple gown she wore during her UK state visit.

According to San Diego-based personal stylist and image consultant Cynthia Kennedy, Melania’s style deliberately breaks away from the typical First Lady wardrobe, which often leans toward predictable midi dresses and understated looks.

Stylist Breaks Down Melania Trump’s Fashion Choices

“She’s not doing what people expect. She’s not wearing safe, dull, traditional First Lady fashion,” Kennedy explained to the Daily Mail, pointing to Melania’s affinity for bold prints and menswear-inspired ensembles.

Instead, Kennedy says, Melania is dressing entirely on her own terms. “She’s wearing what she wants, from her favorite designers—mostly European luxury brands like Dolce & Gabbana—and she’s making it clear that this role is something she’s approaching in her own way.”

Kennedy also noted that relatability doesn’t appear to be the goal. With high-end pieces—like trousers that can cost well over $2K—Melania is signaling a different approach to public image. “She’s showing that she’s on a completely different playing field and follows her own rules,” Kennedy added. “She’s not interested in dressing for any role.”
