Prince Harry And Queen Camilla's Strained Relationship
Although Prince Harry is reportedly trying to reconcile with his family – starting with his father, King Charles, before possibly reuniting with his estranged brother, Prince William – his relationship with his stepmother remains very strained.
Previous reports have claimed that Queen Camilla doesn't think Prince Harry meeting up with his father is good for the King's health because of all the "stress and drama" he seems to bring with him.
It's no secret that the Duke of Sussex and Queen Camilla don't see eye to eye, and seemingly haven't from the very start of her relationship with King Charles. Meghan Markle Reportedly Feels Queen Camilla Has Been Out To Get Her 'Since Day One'
A source reportedly told RadarOnline that Meghan felt Queen Camilla had been out to get her since "day one," with the insider adding: "She's convinced Camilla has been trying to undermine her and paint her as the villain from day one, and she's adamant that she won't open herself up to more cruelty."
"She's been so openly critical of Meghan within their inner circle from almost the very beginning; it's like she's taken it upon herself to be the family attack dog and has said out loud what others might think but are too polite to actually articulate," the source continued.
Meghan Markle Reportedly Won't 'Take The High Road' When It Comes To Camilla: 'She's Preparing For War'
This is reportedly why the As Ever founder isn't interested in extending an olive branch now. "Meghan is willing to be conciliatory and take the high road with a lot of people – but Camilla is a different story," an insider reportedly told RadarOnline.
They added: "She's not planning to start a scene, but she's not going to pretend everything is fine and play nice with Camilla."
Another insider reportedly told Globe Magazine: "She's told Harry she refuses to be a punching bag anymore – especially for someone she believes has spent years trying to destroy her reputation."
"If Camilla wants to keep playing dirty, Meghan is ready to hit back. Harry has told her all the family secrets, so she has plenty of ammunition," the source spilled, adding: "Meghan is done playing meek and says if Camilla does anything underhanded while they're back in the U.K. she's going to retaliate.
