Blake Lively may have controversially attended the Met Gala earlier this week, but one other divisive A-lister who was noticeably absent from fashion’s biggest night was Meghan Markle.
And according to recent reports, that might be because she has reportedly burned bridges with Anna Wintour, this year’s Met Gala lead sponsor Lauren Sánchez Bezos, and regular Met Gala attendees the Kardashians.

Meghan Markle Is Reportedly 'Spiraling' After Burning Bridges With Hollywood's Influential People
According to reports, Prince Harry and Meghan have been "burning bridges" not only with the royal family, book publishers, and Netflix, but also with some of Hollywood's most influential people.
It was previously reported that Hollywood is "sick" and "tired" of them, with one source claiming that "the act has gotten stale." And the former Suits actress is now reportedly "spiraling" after falling out with them, as it is doing nothing to help her dreams of making it big in Hollywood.
A source reportedly told the Daily Mail: "They have truly lost the plot. I hear she's spiraling badly because she knows nothing is working." They continued: "The whole thing about her (As Ever) stuff selling out isn't true anymore. I don't think either of them is happy."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly made things awkward with the Kardashians after attending Kris Jenner's 70th birthday party and then allegedly forcing them to delete pictures featuring them from social media. The Kardashians understandably didn't like this, and reportedly made sure other people in Hollywood knew about it.
The With Love, Meghan star is also reportedly not in Sánchez's good books after seemingly snubbing her before she and Jeff Bezos got married last summer. An insider claimed: "She snubbed Lauren before the wedding. Meghan was invited to things by Lauren and didn't want to go. She didn't want to be seen with her because she thought she was trashy."
As for why Anna Wintour reportedly isn't a fan of Meghan, it may have something to do with Meghan collaborating with former British Vogue editor Edward Enninful on the magazine's Forces for Change issue in 2019, rather than pledging her allegiance to U.S. Vogue, which Wintour fronted at the time. An insider said: "Meghan pledged her allegiance to Enninful, which [expletive] off Anna. Anna hates her. Meghan doesn't want to pay and never returns things."
They also went on to claim that Anna would not have wanted to associate with Meghan following Megxit, adding: "Also, Anna loves the royal family. She is a Dame. Anna would have hated how they (the Sussexes) handled their exit from The Firm."

As expected, the internet had plenty to say on the matter! "She isn't just a fire starter when it comes to bridges. She's an arsonist! Burns every bridge imaginable!" exclaimed one X user. They went on: "But of course, it's everyone else's fault and if you don't like her, we are racist. She's a narcissistic [expletive] who bullies her staff. She deserves EVERYTHING coming to her."
A second noted: "Excuse me. They were never her pals. Sure she got 'invited' to Kris Jenner's party at Bezos mansion but she caused a ruckus after the party to make it about her. She's never been invited at the Met Gala even when she had multi-million $ contracts, so not now when she has zero!"
"Part of the problem has nothing to do with them being greedy or selfish [expletive.] Most of Hollywood fits that category. But the fact that Meghan is keen to upstage anyone who extends a hand to her and try and ride successful people's coattails into the ground (Serena) no one wants a creepy social climbing stalker in their network," thought a third, also referencing Meghan's friendship with tennis champ Serena Williams.
"Burned bridges with famous pals, a revolving door of staff, staff in the UK and US traumatized and needing therapy, staff being paid damages, accusations of bullying and being a dictator in high heels and she's 'spiraling'? Somebody needs to sit her down and talk frankly to her," a fourth chimed in.
"You have to be a certain kind of person to make enemies of everyone," thought a fifth, as a sixth said: "She should be spiraling… She's a terrible human." "Grifters always get what's coming to them," added a seventh.
