On Thursday, October 23rd, the Duchess of Sussex made an appearance to support friend and former Northwestern University sorority sister Courtney Adamo, who was promoting her interior design book, The Family Home: Inspiring Ideas for a Home Filled with Joy.
Meghan reportedly supplied As Ever wine for guests after the event, and took part in a livestreamed panel titled Compare Notes on Creating a Home That's Filled With Joy. Meghan unsurprisingly didn't hold back in the discussion, and shared some details about her home life with husband Prince Harry and their kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The mom-of-two confessed that the family starts each day with music, and ends it by sharing their daily "highlight and lowlight." She also mentioned that they love lighting scented candles and snuggling up with a "healing blanket" when one of the kids isn't feeling well.
However, social media users were quick to accuse Meghan of dominating the conversation and overshadowing Adamo, who co-founded the popular UK parenting blog Babyccino Kids. In several now-viral clips from the livestream, the former Suits actress appears to interrupt or speak over her friend repeatedly, which many people on social media didn't take kindly to!

Social Media Slams Meghan Markle As 'Rude' And 'Insufferable'
One short clip from the livestream was shared on X and captioned: "Meghan just can't stop! The interviewer (it seems) is asking Courtney a question and Meghan just bulldozes forward!"
"It's literally an evening to discuss the other lady's book she just published," observed one X user in the comments. "Courtney looks as if she wants to drop the mic and walk away at this point. Meghan bullying her way around, stealing Courtney's moment. Disrespectful," slammed a second, as a third asked: "Did Courtney ever get a chance to speak?"

"And that's when Courtney realized it was a huge mistake bringing Meghan to her interview & giving her a mic," quipped a fourth, as a fifth said: "God, she's insufferable. Who keeps inviting her to these events?"
