Royal Expert Says Prince Harry Doesn't Want To Be A 'Walk-On' Character In Meghan Markle's Life
Ever since they made history by stepping down from their duties as royals and leaving the UK for America in 2020, the controversial couple has had people all around the world wondering what their next moves will be. Though some predicted their current careers, others were taken aback.
Now that Meghan is a full-blown lifestyle guru, having filmed her at-home Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, and launched her own brand of goods, As Ever, more people have been wondering exactly what the future holds for her husband, Harry. After becoming a best-selling author through his memoir, Spare, and speaking at numerous charity events, royal insiders have been stating that he's reportedly ready to not only reconcile with his family members, but convince them to let him start working as a "part-time royal."
"Harry has always seen himself as more than just having a walk-on role in [Meghan's] cookery programs," royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told The Express.
Fitzwilliams also noted that the prince has begun making moves like a working family member, like when he spoke in Ukraine, "days ahead of the King's visit to the US."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Heading In 'Different' Directions With Their Careers
As the estranged prince begins working towards regaining his working royal status, even if it is just "part-time," the Suits alum is reportedly leaning into her lifestyle brand even further. Additionally, she has no interest in reconnecting with the royal life and would much rather stay on her own path professionally.
Fitzwilliams noted that the couple seems to be in no position to split up, continuing to "get along really well." However, he also explained that in terms of their careers outside of the royal family, Meghan's is "obviously the much stronger of the two." This further explains why she allegedly would not only want to keep working on As Ever and her lifestyle projects, but also why the prince is more reliant on her than he may lead on.
"The personal relationship between them, I think, remains strong for now, but they are clearly heading in very different directions professionally," he told the above publication. "They are most definitely on diverging paths and want different things."
