Meghan Markle & Prince Harry's Director Of Communications Announces Her Exit After A Few Months
Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer actively involved members of the royal family, they're still managing a series of new projects since their move to America for a slightly more 'normal' life in 2020. From Meghan's controversial Netflix series to Prince Harry's charity projects, they still have a lot going on as they rebrand themselves apart from their royal duties.
Therefore, they still have staff members, including a Director of Communications, who is typically known as a person who oversees a figure or company's public image and appearances in the media. Yesterday afternoon, in a statement to the press, it was announced that Emily Robinson, Meghan and Harry's Director of Communications, was leaving her job after only four months of holding it. Emily previously worked for Netflix until the Duchess of Sussex offered her a position on the couple's official team of staff.
A spokesperson told People in a statement that "Ms. Robinson oversaw project-based work for a very successful season of With Love, Meghan, and additional support for the production company."
"She did an excellent job and completed these projects with great success," they continued.

It can automatically be assumed that being the Director of Communications for one of the most notorious, headline-making, and in some cases, controversial couples of this generation is a stressful and busy job. However, Emily's sudden and unexpected departure from a position she had only held for four months has had numerous people around the world speculating that the Duke and Duchess themselves had something to do with it.
It's unclear for right now whether the now former employee left to pursue another opportunity or if there was something to drive her out.
