Meghan Markle Speaks At An Online Safety Memorial Event & Makes Public Appearances In Switzerland

Though she officially stepped down from her royal duties as the Duchess of Sussex alongside her husband, Prince Harry, in 2020, the As Ever founder has continued to take on charitable and humanitarian projects on her own.

More recently, many social media users were impressed when they saw that she spoke at the unveiling of the Lost Screen Memorial in Geneva, Switzerland, an event and tribute to young people who have lost their lives due to cyberbullying and online violence. During the memorial on Sunday, May 17th, Meghan made a passionate speech that advocated for young social media and internet users, calling for more safety measures to be put in place by big tech companies.

"Now their faces ask the world questions we can no longer avoid: How many more millions of children will be harmed by products that, while innovative, are still designed without sufficient safeguards?" she asked a live crowd of attendees and reporters, as written by People.

Aside from her more solemn, simple black outfit she wore for the memorial, on Monday, May 18th, she stepped out in a springtime-coded light purple midi dress, which complemented her slender figure and was paired with a coordinating jacket as she spoke with members of the World Health Organization.

Social Media Reacts As Meghan Reveals Her & Prince Harry's 4-Year-Old Picked Out Her Purple Dress

Earlier today, on social media, as the mom-of-two was praised by numerous users for her participation in the online safety memorial ceremony, she lightened things up by revealing who put together her lilac dress for the following day.

These days, she hasn't had the royal stylists she once used during her working days as the Duchess of Sussex, and aside from a new styling team, is seemingly getting help from her and Harry's youngest child, four-year-old Lilibet. On her personal Instagram page, she shared a mirror selfie taken in her closet, with Lilibet helping her put together her outfit. In her caption, she wrote, "Mama's little helper."

On social media, some of the California native's loyal fans commented on how sweet they thought the picture was, happy to see more glimpses of Meghan's at-home life since leaving the UK.

"Stunning mom-daughter moment," commented a fan on Instagram.

"How cute," added another, with one user writing, "Love this so much."

We'll be curious to see if Meghan decides to keep her fans posted on what other looks her young daughter, and potentially, future stylist, ends up helping her put together. For now, they're loving what they're seeing.
