Another tech power couple has stepped into the fashion week spotlight.
After Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez made headlines at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, were spotted in the front row at Milan Fashion Week for Prada’s Fall/Winter 2026–2027 show on Thursday, Feb. 26, in Milan.
Their appearance comes amid reports that Meta is teaming up with Prada on a new line of high-end smart glasses.

In videos circulating online, Zuckerberg was seen wearing a tan trench coat paired with brown pants, later removing the jacket to reveal a collared tan long-sleeve shirt. Chan opted for a gray sweater, a navy skirt, combat boots, and a fur-trimmed coat.
Meta is reportedly collaborating with Prada and eyewear giant EssilorLuxottica to develop AI-powered luxury smart glasses.
The upcoming designs are expected to combine premium fashion elements with advanced technology, expanding Meta’s AI eyewear portfolio beyond its existing Ray-Ban and Oakley partnerships. The collaboration would mark a strategic move into the luxury market for Meta, leveraging Prada’s elevated aesthetic and signature thicker frames, which are well-suited to house embedded tech components.
Still, not everyone online was impressed by their fashionable front-row moment.

Social Media Reacts
“Taking the seats of hard working people with an actual fashion background/degree/career,” said one person on Instagram. A second wrote, “Why are they even invited?! Shame on Prada for extending them an invitation.”
A third commented, “The last place they should be at… fashion show????????” Another quipped, “Remember when fashion was exclusionary, and nerds and non-cool people would be shunned. I miss those days.”
Someone else added, “This is awkward, because they see tech giant Bezos they decide to join fashion.” One user sarcastically asked, “Why? Because he’s soooo into fashion?” Another said, “What in the FB marketplace are they doing there?!”
“Disappointing, disturbing, and disgusting,” someone else noted.
“Tech bros have no place in the arts,” added another. “These people are making fashion look uncool. You should stop reporting about evil nerds buying their way into fashion, it's so lame,” wrote one user.
Their appearance follows Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s headline-making run at Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2026 in January, where they secured high-profile front-row seats. The couple was seen at the Schiaparelli show—where Sánchez stood out in a bold red ensemble—as well as at the Dior presentation.
This week, the Amazon mogul and his wife were also announced as the sole lead sponsors and primary donors of the 2026 Met Gala and its accompanying Costume Institute exhibition, “Costume Art.” In addition to funding the event, the pair will serve as honorary chairs. The couple are often seen with former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
