Last week, many stars, politicians, and other notable figures touched down in Chicago, Illinois, to celebrate the opening of the new Obama Presidential Center.
The center, which provides the public with a museum, library, athletic space, and more, officially opened to the public on this year's Juneteenth holiday, but kicked off with a special ceremony the day before. During the festivities, the Obamas themselves made speeches for the public as well as musical performances from Bruce Springsteen, Christina Aguilera, and more. At one point, the famous couple was joined on stage by their two daughters, Maila, 27, and Sasha, 25.
The two 'first daughters' don't often make appearances with their parents anymore, especially since Barack finished his second term in 2017, as they both attended college and began their careers. However, for the special day, they both sat in the middle of their mom and dad, wearing super stylish outfits.

Once the two young women stepped out on stage last week, it didn't take long for pictures and videos of them to go viral on social media.
Fans were rather excited to see them, especially considering they've kept low profiles since leaving the spotlight and the White House almost ten years ago. Malia graduated from Harvard University in 2021 and has begun working in the film industry, and Sasha graduated from the University of Southern California in 2023, keeping her career goals private for now.
On social media platforms like Instagram, users, fans of their iconic family left comments about how grown up the two daughters are, and how they felt their parents did a good job despite the unconventional circumstances they grew up under.
"They're absolutely beautiful," commented an Instagram user.
