Later, the pair were seen being affectionate in front of other guests but have not made their relationship official on social media. Commenters on People Magazine‘s post criticized Jenner’s behavior when meeting John, 77, calling her decision to remain seated as he greeted her “disrespectful” and “classless.”

Other users deemed her actions to be "arrogant" and "rude" as one other commented, "have some respect." Someone else added, "That is Sir Elton John; you stand when being greeted to him."
An additional user chimed in, writing, "Didn't stand for Elton John?? SMH” and “Not just because of Elton John but out of respect and manners, you stand when you greet someone."
One other concurred, saying, "I have no problem whatsoever with the Kardashians but, stand up when being introduced to anyone, especially Sir Elton John. I mean come on…He's a living legend. That just didn't sit right with me."
Later that night, Jenner and Chalamet, 29, were spotted getting cozy. Their affectionate display took place as the Kardashians star and her A Complete Unknown actor boyfriend chatted with Edward Norton and his wife, Shauna Robertson.
Though Jenner and Chalamet mostly stayed together during the Oscars, they didn't walk the red carpet together and never have before.
Despite romantic gossip surrounding their relationship surfacing in April 2023, the influencer and the Dune: Part Two star only appeared together publicly that September.
