Kourtney Kardashian recently decided to post some new pictures with her young son, Rocky, and though she covered his face, it didn’t take long for people to hit her with some backlash.
In one of her latest ‘photo dumps,’ the reality star included a few snaps of her holding and posing with the two-year-old, which she does on rare occasions. As per usual, she covered his face, protecting his identity, which social media users ended up slamming her for, as they pointed out she and her husband, Travis Barker, have already made public appearances with him. Kourtney Kardashian Posts New Photos With Her & Travis Barker's Son, Rocky
The eldest Kardashian sister has been living a life somewhat different from the rest of her family's, keeping things more laidback and spending a lot of quality time with her husband, Travis, and their blended family, which includes their young son, Rocky.
Since Rocky was born in November 2023, the Poosh founder and Blink-182 drummer have been determined not to expose his face to the public too often, originally completely cutting out his face from any photographs. Kourtney's been keeping up that tradition on her Instagram profile, always covering her toddler's face whenever sharing new snaps of her family.
Her latest Instagram post was no exception after she shared a variety of images from some of her early summer adventures with the caption, "June gloom." In addition to some artsy photographs of her in a white gown and other behind-the-scenes glimpses from her personal life, she added a few pictures of her and Rocky, including one of them on the beach and them eating at a dinner. His face is protected in both, with either his head turned or an emoji covering it.

Fans & Social Media Users Slam Kourtney's Post In The Comments
One of today's biggest trends for celebrities, influencers, and other notable figures is to block their child's face when sharing pictures of them on social media. It's typically for safety reasons, not wanting anyone with malicious intentions to have photos of their child's identity, as well as wanting their kid to be able to consent to having pictures of themselves up online.
However, Kourtney's post struck a nerve with some of her followers and other internet users, considering she's blocking her kid's face on her profile, but has been making public outings with him and the rest of her family. For instance, she and Travis recently took a bike ride with Rocky in New York City, where people were able to see and take pictures of his face. This led to a wave of backlash in her comments.
"So I don't know if you know this already, but his face is already exposed," commented an instagam user. "The secret is out."
"We've already seen his face," added another.
"Why are you covering up his face?" a follower asked. "He's been seen already."
