King Charles Has 'Regret' Over Lack Of Relationship With Prince Harry's Kids

On May 6th, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son, Archie, turned 7 years old. And while they had a day of celebrations in California where Archie has grown up, King Charles and Queen Camilla were not involved in any celebrations at all. A fact that reportedly brings a lot of sadness to the King.

According to royal expert Duncan Larcombe, Archie's birthday only reminded King Charles of his greatest regret. "I think King Charles is full of regrets over the whole situation, he definitely wouldn’t have wanted it to go this way," he told the Mirror. "He has spoken about how much he enjoys being a grandparent."

The last time Prince Archie and his younger sister Lilibet saw their grandparents was back in 2022, nearly four years ago, when the Sussex family last visited the UK for Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

King Charles And Prince Harry Remain Estranged

This comes after King Charles reportedly "scrapped" his plans to meet up with Prince Harry while he was visiting the White House last month. King Charles and Queen Camilla spent four days in the United States in April conducting an official State Visit, and while Washington, DC, is still quite far from Montecito, California, where Harry and Meghan reside, it's a lot closer than England.

But the meet up never happened. According to insider reports, King Charles "scrapped" his plans because Prince Harry was using his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as a "bargaining tool" in a "calculated move" to secure the private protection he has long wanted when his family visits the UK.
