While Prince Andrew has been stripped of his military titles, royal patronages, and public duties, the disgraced royal still remains half-in, half-out of the royal family. He still resides in the Royal Lodge, for one, despite pressure from his older brother, King Charles, to move out.

It seems though, that “pressure” isn’t enough for the future king, Prince William, who wants a firmer line to be drawn between the monarchy and Prince Andrew. And according to royal insiders, Prince William putting his foot down on this is a “humiliating” blow to the king. Keep reading for more information.

King Charles 'Humiliated'

While we wouldn't go as far as to say that King Charles has a soft spot for his younger brother, Prince Andrew, he definitely is more lenient than others might have been. Others, like Prince William.

According to a report by Radar Online, a source is claiming that new rules make it so that Prince Andrew may "never be photographed alongside Prince William again."

More than that, he's been uninvited from the traditional turkey dinner at Sandringham at Christmas. Insiders are saying that King Charles just wanted his brother and Sarah Ferguson to "be invisible" after all of the scandal related to Jeffrey Epstein.

Prince William Stands His Ground

But with William making that line in the sand more concrete, many are saying it's a "humiliating blow" to King Charles; the confirmation that Prince William is calling the shots now.

"The king feels deeply that Royal Lodge cannot remain a sanctuary for the Duke and Duchess of York. After everything that has come out, he wants them out. It's not just about optics anymore – it's about trying to preserve the integrity of the monarchy," the insider added.

Will Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson finally move out of the Royal Lodge? Only time can tell. But it does seem like eviction will be a lot more likely when Prince William takes the throne.
