While King Charles has a soft spot for his youngest son, Prince William has no such thing. Ever since Prince Harry left the royal family behind and moved to California with Meghan Markle, he’s had little contact with his older brother, and William has made no attempts at mending their relationship. According to a royal insider, though, King Charles has made it “mission number one” for his newest aide to reunite the brothers. Keep reading for more information.

King Charles Enlists Aide To Reunite Prince William & Prince Harry
Former diplomat Theo Rycroft joined King Charles' team earlier this year, becoming deputy private secretary to the King. Insider sources are reporting that it is his "number one mission" to reunite the feuding brothers, who have not spoken since Queen Elizabeth's funeral in 2022.
Sources close to Rycroft say he believes the situation is "f***ing ridiculous" and is dead set on "urgently" resolving the issue.
"He thinks it's time to knock their heads together," the insider dished. "Theo's a very reasonable guy and incredibly nice, and he completely gets that this is a source of great pain to the King and wants to help him resolve it. He sees his job as helping the King resolve it."

Prince William Is 'Done' With Prince Harry
Rycroft's mission may prove to be quite difficult, as Prince William reportedly wants nothing to do with Prince Harry. Royal expert Helena Chard told Fox News Digital that Prince William is "ignoring the circus" surrounding Prince Harry and the fact that he has "publicly criticized" the royal family for the past six years, adding that he is "done with drama."
As a result, he is reportedly staying silent, insisting he will not speak to him or extend an olive branch as their father has done, and cutting Prince Harry out for good! "This feels like a permanent royal reset. But William's silence isn't a mystery. It's a strategy," she added.
The brothers haven't seen each other since their awkward reunion at their grandmother Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in September 2022. Although they were at another event together after that – the funeral of Princess Diana's brother-in-law, Robert Fellowes, in 2024 – they were reportedly kept very separate from each other, with each one on opposite sides of the room at all times!
