Kim Kardashian has worn a *lot* of interesting outfits over the years. From Marilyn Monroe‘s iconic dress at the 2022 Met Gala to the masked Maison Margiela look she wore to the Academy Museum Gala just last year, there has been no shortage of head-turning, internet-breaking ensembles.
The Kardashians star has also been accused of not having her own style and copying other people over the years too, including ex-husband Kanye West‘s new wife Bianca Censori with her super-risqué outfits. And now it seems she is being accused of copying Taylor Swift, too…
Kim Kardashian Wears Bedazzled Showgirl Outfit In Pap Pics From New Movie
The 45-year-old Skims mogul was recently papped rocking a showgirl-inspired outfit while filming an escape scene for the upcoming Netflix comedy movie, The Fifth Wheel, with Will Ferrell. Check out some pics here and here.
Swifties immediately drew comparisons between her outfit and one Taylor wore for her The Life of a Showgirl album that was released in 2025.
In the pap pictures, the mom-of-four can be seen wearing a striking showgirl costume consisting of a plunging crystal-encrusted red and black bodice, a dramatic feathered headpiece, and a bold red cape. Her hair was swept back into a chic bun, and she accessorized with coordinating red opera gloves, matching red earrings, and a black choker.

Mixed Social Media Reactions
The internet was somewhat divided over the look, with some people deeming it – and Kim – fabulous, and others slamming it and the movie. And of course, there were those who couldn't look past the Taylor Swift similarities…
"God she wants to be Taylor so bad," slammed one Instagram user. "She's obsessed that's why," agreed a second, while many others were a lot more supportive.
"I love whatever this is," wrote a third fan. "I'm here for this," echoed a fourth, as a fifth exclaimed: "I'm in!" "I don't care what anyone says, she is following her dreams and I support that," added a sixth, followed by the hand clapping emoji, while many others were quite negative...
"Wasn't she supposed to be a lawyer?" asked a seventh unimpressed Instagram user. "I really can't deal with how bad this looks," slammed an eighth. "I blame Ryan Murphy for making her believe that she can act," quipped a ninth, in reference to All's Fair. "Nope, couldn't pay me to watch," declared a tenth. "I hope Will is ready for his first flop," joked an eleventh.
