Kim Kardashian Works As A Cashier During A SKIMS Event

Earlier this week, the Kardashian icon attended a special SKIMS pop-up for the brand's latest collaboration with Nike in Paris, France, right at the end of Paris Fashion Week.

The pop-up took place in a special SKIMS x Nike store, and lots of happy customers attended as they picked out some of the merchandise and shapewear, and brought it to checkout, where, for a while, Kim worked as a cashier. Viral video footage shows the mom-of-four standing behind the checkout counter and casually scanning SKIMS items while chatting with customers.

In the moment, she was wearing an outfit that was not what the average cashier would wear, which consisted of an all-pink ensemble, with a sporty pink long-sleeve paired with oversized satin embellishments and a matching skirt. You can see a video of her working checkout here!

Social Media Users Slam Kim For 'Failing At Being Normal' During The Pop Up

The beauty and fashion mogul's appearance at the pop-up delighted many fans, especially those who were lucky enough to be in attendance. However, once the footage of her helping at checkout was shared on social media platforms like Instagram, numerous internet users ended up slamming her.

Many felt that her being at the checkout was inauthentic, and disapproved of how she was struggling to work a 'normal' job. They expressed these feelings and left comments on platforms like Reddit.

"She acted like she's never even seen her own products before," wrote a user. "Like girl! Do you know this is your stuff? Do you know how to put it in a bag?"

"She looks disgusted," added a user. "Like she is completely grossed out by manual labor."

One Reddit user wrote the video looked like she was "failing at being normal," as another commented she was acting "like it's her first day on Earth."

Other users slammed Kim's outfit, calling it "ugly" and "ill-fitted." It looks like no matter how hard she tried to participate in her brand's more manual labor, users couldn't get over it and won't seem to let her live it down.
