Khloé Kardashian Celebrates True Thompson's 8th Birthday
Khloé and Tristan Thompson's daughter turned 8 years old on April 12th, and her parents ensured she celebrated in style – seemingly with no expense spared for her Care Bears-themed party at the children's play area, Off The Wall.
The Good American founder shared a carousel of pictures from the party, organized with event planner Mindy Weiss, on Instagram, alongside a heartfelt message for her daughter. She captioned the post: "Eight sounds and feels different. Your heart expanding, your thoughts deepening, your light becoming even more your own. There is something so sacred about the wonder in you. The innocence in your eyes."
She went on: "For eight years, you've saved me more times than I can count, simply by being you. Your love is pure magic. Your laughter is healing and infectious, your hugs are precious, and your soul is my forever."
"You make me want to be better every single day, not just for you and Tatum, but because OF you and Tatum," she added. "I carry you in EVERYTHING I do and feel. Loving you both will always be the part of me I'm most proud of."
The event was reportedly attended by True's cousins Saint West, 10, and Chicago West, 8 – two of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's four children – as well as Dream Kardashian, 9, the daughter of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna. Her grandmother Kris Jenner was also present, along with her father Tristan, and his 19-year-old brother, Amari Thompson.
The party featured an unmistakable Care Bears theme, including a large custom birthday cake topped with a Care Bear holding the number 8, a plethora of pastel-colored balloons, oversized Care Bears, an elaborate craft station, and more. And a section of the floor was even decorated with a Care Bears design featuring True's name!
And the fun didn't start and stop there, as there was also a Care Bears themed sleepover ahead of the party, with Khloé showing off themed goodies and merchandise for the kids on social media. The birthday party post got the attention of the official Care Bears account, which commented: "The coolest birthday party ever!!" However, it wasn't all positive feedback, as many people took to social media to criticize the party…

"These hideous horrible ghouls are climate criminals. No kid needs that much [expletive!]" exclaimed a second, as a third added: "It's so insane how they go all out and way too over the top for birthdays every year – it makes you wonder if they'll do it forever."
"They always like to show how rich they are, and then they wonder why people hate them," a fourth observed, as a fifth replied: "Right? They're ridiculous." A sixth wondered: "These kids are given so much [expletive] that things will no longer be meaningful. All for optics. How hard will these kids try to be happy when everything is dumped into their laps?"
A seventh did concede that at least the theme was appropriate – perhaps in reference to some of the other Kardashian/Jenner parties – but added that it was still excessive: "The theme is cute and age-appropriate but it's just so [over-the-top] and obvious product placement!"
"I loathe these people. Poor kids," declared an eighth, as a ninth slammed: "These [expletive] and their excess. They don't even care for their own children but do all this lavish [expletive] just for show and attention. Really, really pathetic."
"Why is it ALWAYS some craft station, a theme, a huge venue?" questioned a tenth, adding: "Those poor kids can't process that much stuff." An eleventh concluded: "So wasteful. The opulence of trash consumption with these talentless [expletives] disgusts me. Do something positive with your existence. Any charity or philanthropy… or just continue with the useless junk."
