Kelly Osbourne Admitted To Losing Weight Following The Loss Of Her Dad
The former View co-host has endured an incredibly difficult year following the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July 2025 at the age of 76. The Black Sabbath frontman's death was a devastating loss for the Osbourne family, and Kelly has been open about how deeply his passing affected her.
In a previous interview, following months of online speculation, the mom-of-one revealed that her grief had a significant impact on her appetite and caused her to lose weight. She also admitted that the changes to her appearance became difficult to process as she struggled to navigate life without her dad.
"I said, 'This is scary, I didn't know I looked like this,'" she recalled in an interview with The Mail on Sunday. "My spine — you could see every single bone. I couldn't see what other people saw because I was in so much pain. I just saw a broken person."

Kelly Osbourne Reveals She Has Gained 30 Pounds As She Works Toward Recovery
In a new interview with The Sun, the 41-year-old offered another update on her health and recovery, opening up about the challenges she has faced since losing her father. While the grieving process has been difficult, she indicated that she is working toward a better place physically and emotionally.
Kelly revealed that after learning her mother was considering sending her into a rehab facility, she met a therapist and life coach, Chris Miller, who has given her tools for recovery and helped her "in so many ways I never thought possible."
Kelly also revealed that she has gained 30 pounds after her significant weight loss, describing the physical toll that the experience has taken on her, and how one of the keys to success is not being infantilized or treated like a pitiful child.
"Most people aren't kind," she continued. "I was just asking for a little bit of understanding, because there's a lot more to the story than meets the eye... I'm not a kid anymore. I'm 42 this month, and I keep getting treated like a 16-year-old, which I find baffling. No one knows what people are dealing with in private. I was just sad. I don't wish that pain on anyone ever. And to do that in front of everyone just sucked."
