Katy Perry’s Lifetimes Tour was easily dubbed the worst tour of the year, a very sad follow up to Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour and somehow even worse than Jennifer Lopez’s Up All Night Tour. Perry was relentlessly mocked for her bizarre dance moves and questionable bits night after night. There were even rumors that the poor reception of her tour was part of the reason for her split with Orlando Bloom. Which is why when she revealed that she grossed $80M from the tour, people were shocked. Keep reading for more information.

Katy Perry Reveals She Made $80M From Lifetimes Tour

Perry's management team dropped the astounding figure, saying she has already sold 1.1M tickets and grossed more than $80M. That number comes from ticket sales to her shows in the United States, Canada, and Australia, and doesn't even include the upcoming tour dates in Latin America, Europe, and China.

These numbers were a shock to the masses, especially after all the negative press the "Teenage Dream" singer has received over the past couple months. She's been fined for filming a music video on protected land in Ibiza, she's been slammed for suing an elderly veteran over a real estate dispute, she's been attacked for joining the all-female Blue Origin space flight, and now, she and her husband have split. This profit from her tour? Talk about a miracle.

Katy Perry's 'Embarrassing' Tour

Across social media, Perry's been made fun of for her choreography in particular. In one now viral TikTok video, she can be seen performing some stiff, robot-reminiscent dance moves to her song “Part of Me,” while wearing a futuristic cone bra, high-waisted bottoms, and thigh-high boots.

The former American Idol judge can then be seen dramatically dropping to the floor and raising one leg in the air mid-performance, prompting both amusement and disbelief on various social media platforms.

"This is the worst choreography I have ever seen in my life," slammed one fan in the comment section of one TikTok video. "I've been trying to defend her but it's getting hard to do so," wrote a second, as a third said: "I'm actually embarrassed for her." "Maybe she should've gone to rehearsals instead of space," quipped a fourth fan.
