Kate Middleton is the undisputed queen of Wimbledon fashion, and her outfit on Sunday, July 12th, gave fans yet another reason to crown her the best-dressed royal. Many also compared her elegant olive-green ensemble to Meghan Markle‘s much-criticized bright green dress from her final days as a working royal, with several arguing that Kate wears the color far better.
The Princess of Wales was spotted in the Royal Box with her husband, Prince William, and their two oldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as they watched Jannik Sinner defeat Alexander Zverev in the men’s singles final.

Kate Middleton Stuns In Bespoke Olive-Green Emilia Wickstead Dress At Wimbledon
The Princess of Wales, who is Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, looked radiant in a bespoke version of Emilia Wickstead's olive-green wool crepe midi dress, featuring an elegant flowing cape-style overlay.
She accessorized with gold Ralph Lauren Celia pumps, a light brown DeMellier Nano Montreal bag, Van Cleef & Arpels motif earrings, and a Halcyon Days gold torque bracelet with aquamarine. She also wore a green and purple AELTC pin, the official emblem of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, and her brunette locks were styled in her signature glossy soft waves.
Royal fans quickly took to social media to praise the Princess of Wales' sophisticated look. Many said she looks especially good in green, with some comparing her outfit to Meghan Markle's bright green Emilia Wickstead dress, which she wore to the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey in March 2020 during her final official engagements as a senior working royal before she and Prince Harry stepped down.

Reddit Comments
"Catherine looks lovely, elegant, and classy," gushed one Reddit user. "Princess Catherine is flawless," echoed a second, as a third praised: "Catherine is stepping it up a notch or two if that's even possible. That's how a future Queen knocks a certain someone down a peg or two without even trying."
"There's a new radiance, particularly after completing the 3 Peaks challenge," noted a fourth, as a fifth, comparing Kate to Meghan, added: "Kermit goes to church vs Goddess holds court at Wimbledon." Ouch!
"Remember when Meghan said she was forced to wear neutral colors so she wouldn't wear the same color as more senior royals? Lmao," recalled a sixth, referencing comments the Duchess of Sussex made about the royal dress code during her and Prince Harry's controversial Netflix docuseries.
"Migraine cannot wear clothes to save her life," slammed a seventh. "The interesting thing is that Emilia Wickstead designed that strange green dress. EW has designed some of Catherine's favorite outfits (my opinion). Yet here's Meghan looking like a complete goober," criticized an eighth.
A ninth chimed in: "It just proves it is Markle ruining the dress, not the dress ruining Markle. If she would allow for proper tailoring, wear proper undergarments, and iron the [expletive] thing, she might look good. She has a bunch of abused staff, surely [she] should let one of them iron her clothes. What is her obsession with wrinkles?" A tenth concluded: "Catherine really wears her fashion, whereas no matter the outfit, it wears Meghan."
