Over the last year, the 44-year-old royal family icon has been making more public appearances following her scary and difficult cancer diagnosis, for which she underwent treatment and had to take a break from her duties.
Since she revealed she was in remission at the beginning of last year, Kate's been out and about, not only going on trips with her loved ones, but getting back into the flow of things as the Princess of Wales, making official royal visits, shaking hands, making speeches, and more. Recently, she made a trip out to the northern Italian city of Reggio Emilia, where she wore a spring-coded blue pantsuit, which garnered attention on social media.
However, what especially stood out with her look from her Italy trip earlier this month was her hair, which looked especially long. Her dark brown locks were worn in meticulous curls that went down to the middle of her chest, swaying as she walked.
Social Media Users Accuse Kate Of Wearing Hair Extensions
After high-quality pictures and videos of the mom-of-three in Reggio Emilia were shared on social media, her outfit and the stops she made got a lot of attention.
In addition to the mixed reactions surrounding her blue pantsuit, people had a lot to say about her hair, which didn't look very real in the eyes of many. At the end of last year, she caught people's attention with some intense blonde highlights, then another darker hair transition, which led social media users to speculate that she's been using some kind of extensions or even a wig.
Now, after seeing snaps of her hair looking especially long in Italy, it sparked a similar type of speculation and even a bit of backlash.
