However, she recently acknowledged the impact his latest divorce with on-and-off again partner Jennifer Lopez had on her, and how she felt whenever she found herself in the “middle” of their issues. Jennifer Garner Opens Up About Being In The 'Middle' Of Ben Affleck & Jennifer Lopez's Divorce
One of the most popular celebrity couples of the early 2000s to the mid-2010s was certainly Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, a powerful acting duo who eventually started a cute and picturesque family. However, fans of theirs were disappointed to hear of their divorce in 2018, which eventually turned into a cohesive co-parenting situation, with them remaining good friends.
Everything seemed to change when the Batman star got back with and married his iconic ex from the early 2000s, Jennifer Lopez. Their reunion didn't last very long, as following their wedding in 2022, they divorced two years later. The public was always intrigued by not only their dynamic as a pair of exes who got back together, but as a blended family, with 'JLo' suddenly becoming the stepmother to his and Garner's three children.
Although the trio of stars might've made everything look fine and dandy, during a recent cover interview with Flaunt, the Once Upon A Farm founder gave fans a glimpse into what life was like as her ex-husband and the "Jenny From The Block" singer decided to split.
"I was in the middle of something for a really long time, and it didn't make sense," she revealed. "There was no way to talk about it, and it's certainly not my place to talk about him or his experience or anything he's gone through, or my children or their experience."

The 53-year-old performer not only touched on her experience with Ben's second divorce, but also recalled how she managed to get over their divorce in 2018, and get to a place of peaceful co-parenting and acceptance.
Earlier this year, Jennifer touched on how what seemed to be the worst part of her marriage ending was having to change her family's entire dynamic and the lives of their children while speaking to Marie Claire UK.
"The actual breaking up of a family is what was hard," she admitted. "Losing a true partnership and friendship is what was hard. You have to be smart about what you can and can't handle, and I could not handle what was out there."
In terms of where everyone is at now, for the Elektra actress, she's in a very good place, seemingly happy with her changing family's routine and inner relationships.
"I can say that I feel lighter and happier and more myself [than I have] in a really long time," she told Flaunt. "I think that's important to know because I really felt like, 'Oh my gosh, has this family shake-up—has it changed me forever?' When you're many years into something, you think, 'I don't know how it's gonna pass."
