Jelly Roll Opens Up About His 300-Lb Weight Loss On Instagram
The "Save Me" singer is bigger than ever these days when it comes to his career as a musician and presence in the country music world, but his size just keeps getting smaller.
Not long after he dropped out of one of Kid Rock's controversial "Rock The Country" tour dates, Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, was a guest star on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he talked about various subjects, but notably gave an update on his weight loss journey. He's been working towards slimming down and getting healthier over the last 2-3 years, losing approximately 300 pounds since then.
After Jimmy asked him, "Are you sick of talking about how you look?" he responded, "No."
"For 41 years, I never walked in one room where somebody said, 'Dude, you look great,'" he continued. "Not one time, dude. I mean, I was an ugly baby. You know what I'm saying? So now I'm only about a year into people being like, 'You look great.' I'm like, 'Bring it more. Tell me more.'"

Fans React To Jelly Roll's Weight Loss As He Reveals What He 'Misses' About Being Heavier
If there's one thing the late-night show host isn't afraid to do, it's ask a few unusual, uncommon questions, being 'real' with his guests. That was the case when he started asking the 41-year-old singer if there was anything he "missed" from his days of being bigger.
"Is there anything you miss about those 300 pounds?" asked Jimmy.
"The food," Jason answered. "God, I miss the food, Jimmy. But I don't miss anything about the actual weight. I got a lot of skin under here. I mean, if I rolled my shirt up, it'd roll out like a red carpet."
After seeing clips from his interview on social media platforms like Instagram, fans cheered on the "Son of a Sinner" vocalist in the comments section, writing they were proud of him and more.
"I am so proud of you," commented a fan on Instagram. "300 pounds - that is crazy, with a lot of hard work and dedication."
"Wow, Jelly Roll!" added another. "Looking good!"
"Love you, Jelly," wrote a fan. "Keep up the good work."
