On January 2nd, the "Miss You Much" singer decided to ring in the new year with a new Instagram post, wearing a chic and sleek outfit and, notably, flaunting her slimmed-down figure.

 

"Happy New Year!" she wrote in her caption. "Have a blessed 2026! I love u."

 

Janet shared a collection of photos, where she posed in a long, figure-hugging, one-shoulder black dress with long sleeves. It went all the way down to her calves, and she paired it with some tall black leather boots that were slightly ruched. To complete her all black look, she wore a black choker around her neck as a standout accessory. Her highlighted brown hair was slightly crimped and in a tousled yet trendy style.

After the Jackson family icon shared her New Year's Instagram post, fans and followers immediately flooded the comments not only to wish her a happy New Year, but to compliment her fit figure.

 

Over the last decade, the award-winner has been gradually working on her health and getting back in shape, especially since having her one and only child, Eissa Al Mana, in 2017. She's admitted to following stricter eating habits and working hard with personal fitness trainers to get stronger, reportedly losing around 60 pounds.

 

"We were training a minimum of four times a week, and the sessions were never less than 45 minutes, no more than an hour," her trainer, Paulette Sybliss, told E! News in 2017. "Very intense, though, very intense training."

 

For fans, it's clear that she's kept it up, and they cheered her on in the comments section of her post.
