Jaden Smith Posts About His 'Dreams' To Give Out Free Meals On Skid Row
It's no secret that most of today's 'nepo babies', or the children of famous celebrities who begin careers in the public eye, are not greeted with the warmest energy by some pop culture fans or other internet users.
However, Jaden Smith, son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, has been expressing that he wants to continue using his platform and notoriety for good. In 2019, he founded 'I Love You Restaurant,' a non-profit organization that supplies the less fortunate in impoverished areas like Skid Row with nutritious vegan meals for free.
Though the foundation already has people on the ground getting good work done, the 27-year-old recently posted about how he's ready to take things to the next level in a new TikTok video.
"Honestly, my dream in life is to have a building on Skid Row where I can give out free meals every single day: breakfast, lunch, dinner," he said. "I can do things inside of it. I can create jobs and a good vibe. That's my dream. That's my long-term goal. I just want you guys to come along this journey with me, and I want the I Love You community to support me while I'm trying to do this. That's my real golden dream."

Social Media Reacts To Jaden's Post & Sentiments
After the rapper posted his TikTok, to some people's surprise, he received an extra amount of praise. Despite his efforts and charity work, the Smith prodigy has been receiving a lot of backlash for his "nepo baby" status and the extra privileges he gets because of it.
However, some people had a change of heart once they saw his video and wrote about how great they thought his future plans were on other platforms like Instagram.
"Such a beautiful, unselfish soul," commented a fan.
"Such a sweet boy," wrote a user, as another asked, "What's wrong with that?"
"What a wonderful, kind, caring man!" commented a user. "That's great."
We'll be curious to see if this marks the start of a change for the The Pursuit of Happyness performer's reputation, which remains controversial. Still, there's no denying that there are lots of people backing up his dreams.
