It’s no secret that Melania Trump and step-daughter Ivanka Trump don’t have the best relationship. In fact, there have been countless reports over the years about the two women competing with each other during Donald Trump‘s first presidency, with insiders describing it as an ongoing “internal power struggle.”
So with all of this in mind, it should really come as no surprise to learn that the First Lady has made it clear she doesn’t want Ivanka anywhere near the premiere of her self-titled documentary movie…

Melania Trump Doesn't Want To Share The Spotlight With Ivanka Trump At Her Documentary Premiere
Melania – a new documentary chronicling the first 20 days leading up to Donald Trump's second presidential inauguration from the First Lady's perspective – is set to premiere at the Kennedy Center later tonight (January 29th), with additional screenings for friends and supporters across 20 cities.
The film, directed by Brett Ratner, will be released by Amazon MGM Studios as part of Melania's $40M deal with Amazon, and is scheduled to hit 2,000 theatres domestically and 5,000 worldwide the following day on January 30th. The rest of us will be able to stream it on Amazon Prime.
Although there are expected to be many A-list guests at the premiere, including Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos, Melania has made it clear that she wants the attention solely on herself. And with that in mind, Ivanka's name is said to be noticeably absent from the guest list!

Ivanka Trump Is Reportedly 'Hurt' By The Snub
"Melania wants this night all to herself," an insider reportedly told Rob Shuter's ShuterScoop in reference to the alleged snub. They added: "When the spotlight's this dim, no one's sharing it."
Another source echoed this, adding: "It's Melania, front and center, no interruptions. She's drawing a line. Ivanka knows her place."
The reported snub has apparently stung Ivanka – even if she saw it coming! Given their long and complicated history, sources say the First Daughter isn't too shocked by Melania's decision to exclude her from the premiere. She also shouldn't be too shocked to discover that she reportedly doesn't feature in the documentary at all!
"Of course it hurts, but I'm not surprised," a source claimed Ivanka said of the reported snub. Could there be a last-minute change of heart in the next few hours? Could the two women put on a united front on the red carpet? Unlikely, but we will soon find out…
