Last night, stars stepped out dressed to the nines for this year’s American Music Awards, and there was one dress style that certainly dominated the red carpet.
Celebrities like Hilary Duff and GloRilla stepped out onto the red carpet for the special award show in various floor-length dresses that had their own individual style of cutouts. From sparkling silver dresses to satin ones with built-in corsets, these women found ways to embrace a little exposed skin and rocked their own rendition of cutout dresses that turned heads. Read more about a few of them below.

1. Hilary Duff
The Lizzy McGuire star has been back in the spotlight lately, as she's reignited her music career and hit the road on a new tour. Therefore, it's not much of a surprise that she attended last night's American Music Awards for the first time in two decades.
For the ceremony, she channeled disco energy by wearing a beautiful, floor-length silver dress made from a metallic fabric. The dress elegantly draped off her figure with a plunging neckline. In the back were some sultry cutouts that took it to the next level. She wore her signature blonde locks down and accessorized with some coordinating silver heels.

2. Nikki Glaser
The comedian was a special guest at last night's award ceremony, as she was invited to present the award for the Best Rock/Alternative Song. Though she might not have been on stage all night, she certainly made the most out of her presenting moment, wearing a chic, corset-style gown with cutouts.
Nikki's satin gown went all the way down to the floor and included a revealing leg slit on one side. Made from a beige fabric, the top of the dress was shaped like a corset with cutouts on the side that included some ultra-sheer black material. Her blonde hair was extra long, curled, and worn down, and she complemented the black cutouts with some black heels.

3. GloRilla
One of today's most popular up-and-coming rappers is GloRilla, the Memphis native with a lot of catchy hits. As one of last night's Best Female Hip-Hop Artist nominees, the rapper, whose full name is Gloria Woods, stepped out in a cutout gown that screamed summertime and lit up her presence.
On the red carpet, she posed in a sultry, golden yellow cutout gown that completely exposed her toned torso with a cropped top and long, figure-hugging skirt. The top had a halter-type silhouette and emphasized her fit figure. Her blonde-brown hair was worn in a dramatic, voluminous updo, and she accessorized with some simple gold sandals.

4. Amaya Espinal
If you don't recognize her name, you might recognize her nickname, 'Amaya Papaya,' which the reality star earned during her days on last year's viral season of Love Island. The media personality might not have been a nominated musician, but she still made her mark on the award ceremony in an extra daring cutout gown.
Amaya's gown was made from a silky, flesh-colored fabric and contained cutouts all the way from its halter top to the bottom of the floor-length gown. Each cutout was held together by a silver metallic ring, and the fabric was criss-crossed to create a unique visual pattern. Letting the gown do all of the talking to show off her enviable figure, she wore her dark hair in a sleek ponytail and kept her coordinating accessories to a minimum.
