Heidi Klum is one of the biggest and most successful original supermodels – and she seldom gets it wrong on the red carpet!
However, the 52-year-old former America’s Got Talent judge had a rare red carpet fail when she attended the star-studded Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday, March 15th, as many people on social media thought her super-racy look was extremely unflattering! And what was even more shocking was that her sheer, pearl-embellished look for the main Oscars red carpet just a few hours earlier was truly show-stopping!

Heidi Klum Wears A Butter Yellow Chrome Hearts Dress To The 'Vanity Fair' Oscars After-Party
Getting a best-dressed accolade at the Vanity Fair party is no easy feat; and this year in particular had some truly standout, head-turning looks. But the internet doesn't think the Project Runway host will be anywhere near that list!
For the red carpet, the mom-of-four rocked a butter yellow Chrome Hearts halter-neck gown with an open back, subtle train, and daring cutouts along the chest, sides, and back, revealing sheer panels embroidered with delicate floral patterns.
Her hair was worn in a side-parted straight, down do, while her makeup consisted of a bold dark eye and a natural lip. She accessorized with some metallic leather mules by Paris Texas, and for jewelry, kept things minimal with some gold bracelets and rings.
But social media couldn't look past the dress! Most people on social media slammed her stylist (or perhaps lack thereof?!) and the design and fit of the dress for being ill-fitting and unflattering. "Horrible," to quote one person!

Internet Reactions
"That is one ugly dress!" exclaimed one fan on Threads. "That's one of the most horrible dresses I've ever seen," agreed a second, as a third echoed: "She is amazing. That dress is a crime against humanity."
"Whoever put this on the iconic Heidi Klum needs to be arrested," demanded a fourth, as a fifth declared: "She is a beautiful woman in a poorly chosen dress. Her stylist should be fired." A sixth called it a "terrible design," as a seventh quipped: "It looks like something that would have gotten me a failing grade in my high school Home Ec class."
"Bad choice for the party, but at the red carpet she looked stunning with her outfit," observed an eighth, in reference to her phenomenal dress, interestingly also by Chrome Hearts, on the Oscars red carpet a few hours prior. A ninth asked: "My question is, did she not look in the mirror?"
"The cut is all wrong. Clothing should enhance your shape, not fail it," slammed a tenth, as many others thought the dress was unflattering for her shape. "Any dress that can make Heidi Klum look frumpy and saggy is the ugliest dress ever!" exclaimed an eleventh, as a twelfth concurred: "The dress is an abomination."
"Nobody, I mean NOBODY would look good in this horrible creation. The worst dress EVER!" "No, no. No one is saying she's fat. The dress just didn't fit," a thirteenth cleared up, as a fourteenth agreed: "The dress just isn't for her."
