Hailey Bieber Slammed As Copycat

Last Thursday, the Rhode Skin founder took the stage to accept her award and say a few words: "When I started Rhode, I didn't want to start a brand for the sake of starting a brand," she said. "I really wanted to create an entire world."

With clips of her speech posted online, social media users were quick to realize the similarities between Hailey's speech and what Selena said in a 2021 interview with Spécial Madame Figaro Arabia. "I didn't want to launch a makeup line for the sake to launch a brand," Selena said. "What interests me is cultivating beauty from the inside."

Social Media Reactions

Across social media platforms like Instagram, X, and TikTok users came for Hailey, leaving comments like, "she copies everything," and "creepy stalker copycat."

"I've said this before and I'll say it again," another user posted. "Once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern."

"Does Hailey have a personality of her own?" another person asked.

"If I were Selena I would simply be afraid of her...." a fifth person wrote.

"I watched her speech I was shocked!" said a final user.
