Erika Kirk is once again making headlines for her dramatic antics—and the internet has plenty to say.

At the Turning Point USA “Build the Red Wall” rally held in Phoenix on April 17, the mom of two—who now serves as CEO and chair of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) following the death of her husband Charlie Kirk—made a high-energy entrance that quickly went viral. As she walked toward the podium, a man enthusiastically introduced her while loud, hype music played and dramatic lighting filled the stage.

Erika Kirk Makes Headlines Over ‘WWE-Style’ Entrance At TPUSA Rally

For the event, she wore a powder blue pantsuit with loose-fitting trousers and a matching blazer, styling her signature blonde hair in soft waves with a side part and full glam makeup.

In a surprising twist, president Donald Trump also appeared at the rally, which took place at Dream City Church. As the headline speaker, he delivered remarks focused on encouraging support for Republican candidates in the upcoming midterm elections and was introduced by 37-year-old herself.

With a widescreen display behind her featuring the American flag alongside her image, many online compared the moment to a WWE-style entrance.

“We all mourn differently… I guess,” one person commented on Instagram. Someone else added, “Can’t get over the choice of music.” A different user wrote, “Total fraud.”

Over on Reddit, one commenter claimed, “Charlie rolling in his grave realizing his wife is happier with him dead.” Another person wrote, “The best thing that has ever happened to her! I seriously doubt she would say yes to going back in time and stopping the shooting. Had no idea this chick existed until that day.”

One user remarked, “It’s a grift all for herself now. What I find hilarious is not just the entrance but she’s already crying before starting to speak all while generic WWE music plays in the background. It’s like a skit or something.”

Social Media Reacts

The comments kept rolling in as another added, “I've seen this lady make a cry face dozens of times, but not once have I seen a wet cheek or the slightest smudge of lower lash line mascara/liner. Not one escaped tear.” One commenter shared, “I don't know about you, but if my loving spouse dies, I'm taking a year or few off to be with my kids. Spend time with the extended family. Develop some routines. Make some positive memories. Help each other cope.”

Another quipped, “The sixth stage of grief is dancing to pyrotechnics.” One more added, “She is having the best year ever, isn’t she.”

Erika has been the subject of ongoing online scrutiny since Charlie, 31, was assassinated at Utah Valley University in September 2025 while speaking at an outdoor campus debate organized by TPUSA. Since then, critics have labeled her behavior as “unusually happy,” with some even calling her the “happiest widow” due to what they perceive as a notably upbeat public demeanor during a time of mourning.

Just weeks after his death, she stepped in to host his podcast, where some viewers felt her tone appeared “giddy.” She also assumed leadership of the organization within 72 hours of the tragedy—sparking further criticism from those who believed she moved too quickly into the role.
