Dua Lipa isn’t one to go basic with her fashion choices. The superstar is always raising the stakes–whether it be with a backless butterfly crop top, or wearing a straight-up bra as a shirt. This week she stepped out for a night with sister Rina Lipa and friends in London wearing what *might* be her riskiest look of the fall so far (and we’re even counting her Versace looks from Milan Fashion Week!). The “Don’t Start Now” singer wore a sheer black mini dress with bedazzled pasties as the bra top. We always knew she was creative with her boob coverings, but this takes it to a new level. Wow!
The 26-year-old powerhouse hit the town in the very memorable sheer David Koma number that she added a set of sparkly, strategically-placed flowers at the chest. We were able to find the designer mini dress online, but it appears that Lipa’s dress was either custom or she added two of these $2,495 pasties to it. In fact, Dua has worn the crystal-embellished pasties with an orange suit from the designer’s Resort 2022 collection in July.

This time, Lipa opted for a little black dress with a sheer neckline and black choker neckline to accessorize with pasties with. She completed the nighttime look with knee-high black boots, a black blazer, light-up Balenciaga sunglasses ($1,035), a Union Jack ring and a very notable shoulder bag. Dua’s party purse is none other than a charm-embellished collaboration between her pal Devon Lee Carlson and the one and only Marc Jacobs. Name a more club-ready look–we’ll wait.

Oh, and that ring is the Solange Azagury-Partridge “Hotlips” style ($402). It should come as no surprise that the whole look–from the boxy blazers to the ’90s wraparound sunglasses–was styled by her longtime collaborator Lorenzo Posocco. Nailed it again, Lorenz!
“It’s a London thing,” Lipa captioned the October 12th post. We’re buying a ticket immediately.
