Donald Trump‘s in-progress White House ballroom and construction are under fire once again, and some internet users are refusing to stay quiet.
The president recently made a new Instagram post about his latest White House construction project, which will consist of a new and specialty ballroom. The ballroom, located in a reconstructed East Wing of the famous building, is part of a $400M mission, and although his administration is already receiving lots of backlash for it, there’s been even more lately, given that a lot of this is happening while he’s refusing to properly acknowledge the latest release of the Epstein files. Donald Trump Makes A New Instagram Post About His White House Ballroom
The Apprentice star has been making numerous controversial decisions and rulings over the course of his second term so far, one of them including his construction on the White House.
Not many drastic changes have been made to this historical home and government building until President Trump made it back in for his second term in the Oval Office. Beginning in September 2025, using his funds and money from private donors, there was a major demolition of the East Wing that will eventually include a $400M ballroom.
Last month, on Instagram, the president posted about the changes, writing, "Will be the Greatest Ballroom ever built, now rising at the site of the White House — Fully paid for by American Patriot Donors. ZERO cost to our United States Taxpayers!"

Internet Users Slam Trump For His Instagram Post Amid Epstein Files Release
Since the announcement of the construction was made, numerous Americans and people from around the world began slamming the New York native, upset that he would allow for the White House to be damaged and partially demolished. There was an extra amount of backlash due to the fact that the restructuring involved wiping out the rose garden put in by the iconic former First Lady, Jackie Kennedy.
After seeing his latest post, more internet users were outraged, especially due to the notion that he's been quite dismissive of the latest release of the Epstein files, getting angry with reporters, brushing them off as though they're unimportant or completely false.
"The people of America should be ashamed of this," commented an Instagram user. "You should raise your voice against such a cruel ruler and question him."
"This is what I would post if I were in the Epstein files," joked another.
"Who cares!" wrote a user.
"Shame on you for destroying history for your vanity," wrote another.
