Donald Trump frequently berates journalists for asking questions that don’t paint him in a good light, and he’s getting more and more aggressive. He recently lashed out at a female journalist from ABC, calling her “terrible” during an Oval Office photo op and calling for ABC’s license to be revoked, and citizens are now calling him out for being a “dictator.” Keep reading for more information.

Donald Trump Calls Journalist 'Terrible'
Donald Trump hosted Saudi Arabia's crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, in the Oval Office, and during the photo op, ABC correspondent Mary Bruce asked a question about the 2018 murder of Jamal Khashoggi by Saudi agents: "Is it appropriate, Mr. President, for your family to be doing business in Saudi Arabia while you’re president? Is that a conflict of interest?"
"And, your royal highness, she continued, addressing the Saudi prince, "the US intelligence concluded you orchestrated the brutal murder of a journalist. 9/11 families are furious that you are here in the Oval Office. Why should Americans trust you? And the same to you, Mr. President."
In response, Trump said, "I think the license should be taken away from ABC because your news is fake and it's so wrong."
Minutes later, Mary Bruce asked about releasing the Epstein files, and Trump lashed out again. "It's the way you ask theses questions," he said. "You start off with a man who is highly respected, asking him a horrible, insubordinate, and just a terrible question. And you could even ask that same question nicely."
He then added that he thought ABC is a "crappy company" and "one of the worst in the business."

Social Media Reactions
Across social media platforms, users called out Donald Trump for his authoritarian approach to democracy. "Donald Trump threatening to revoke ABC's license after Mary Bruce asked about releasing the Epstein Files tells us everything we need to know," one user wrote. "He's a narcissistic dictator. He's against free speech. He's undoubtedly guilty."
"Enough is enough of insulting and demeaning women in America!" another person tweeted.
"Another day, another threat to an American journalist because Trump doesn't like the question," another user said. "This unhinged man is the person in charge, why was he elected?"
"Trump is just embarrassing," another person said.
"Trump is making it clear that women asking questions about powerful men's crimes would be treated as the problem, not the crimes themselves," a final user posted.
