Following the offensive video his team shared on Truth Social of the former president and first lady depicted as apes, in a new repost, Trump shared a post stating that Michelle Obama is an “anti-white racist.” The repost immediately went viral on various social media platforms, where numerous internet users accused the president of being “obsessed” with the Obamas, and even wrote he was “jealous” of Michelle. Donald Trump Shares A Post That Calls Michelle Obama An 'Anti-Racist' On Truth Social
The current president is famous for sharing quite controversial messages on his founded social media platform, Truth Social.
Earlier this month, he made waves and shocked the world when he allowed his team to post a highly offensive video that placed Barack and Michelle Obama's faces on cartoon apes. He later refused to apologize for the video, but stated that he hadn't watched the entire thing before it was put up online.
Now, he's continuing to attack the couple online, the Becoming author in particular, after he reposted a post written by far-right activist Laura Loomer about their production company, Higher Ground Production, making content on Netflix, which read, "Making this more horrifying is the fact that if the Netflix-Warner Bros. merger is approved, positive messaging of the Democrats' upcoming witch hunts against Trump from Barack Hussein Obama…and his anti-White racist wife Michelle… would likely be blasted across all streaming services as the Obamas' Higher Ground Productions continues to grow within Netflix."
The Internet Reacts To Trump's Repost On Social Media
After the Apprentice star shared Loomer's message, it didn't take long for other internet users to call him out for it, especially due to the line that called Michelle an "anti-white racist," which he presumably agrees with.
On other platforms like Instagram, other internet users began laying into the 79-year-old, shaming him for sharing the message, giving it more traction.
"Wow, if this isn't the pot calling the kettle black," wrote a user.
"Looking in his mirror again," added another. "His insults are sickening, and he is embarrassing himself."
Other users accused President Trump of being jealous of the famous couple and saw the repost as an act of "obsession."
"Imagine being this jealous of someone," wrote an Instagram user. "It’s beginning to get obsessive."
"[The] manchild is jealous," added another.
We'll be curious to see if Trump has any more offensive posts that will come out against the Obamas as the already eventful year develops, or if the internet's reaction will eventually get him to drop it.
