Donald Trump just turned heads after stating that Kamala Harris was “half” a person as he discussed her potential run for president during the 2028 election in a new interview.
The president recently sat down for a news interview over the phone, where he discussed a variety of topics, including the 2028 presidential race. President Trump also reflected on the pair’s famous 2024 presidential debate, where he snuck in a jab about her being like “half a person,” while claiming the moderators were biased against him. Read more about the viral interview and what the politician had to say about the upcoming race below.

President Donald Trump Reflects On His & Kamala Harris' Campaigns
One of the most shocking elections, aside from the one in 2016 where the Apprentice star was elected president of the United States for the very first time, was the one in 2024, where he took the victory again.
After years of many thinking there would not be another era of President Trump, the 80-year-old was sworn in once again during his inauguration in 2025, and has since then made a lot of headlines and stirred up a lot of debate with his policies and statements. Over one year of being in office, he's continuing to reflect on his 2024 campaign against former Vice President Kamala Harris, who has been rumored to be one of the potential candidates in the 2028 election.
During a July 13th interview with Salem News Channel, the former NYC real estate mogul commented on the topic, telling host Hugh Hewitt over the phone about his take on their first 2024 presidential debate. He called one of the debate's moderators, ABC News' David Muir, a "loser," before naming the other moderator, Linsey Davis, as an "unknown woman," which can be seen in a clip shared on X here.
Additionally, he also called each of the moderators "biased."

President Trump Calls Kamala 'Half' Of A Person During Interview
As the famous businessman carried on with his interview, he threw in a jab at the former Attorney General of California.
This isn't the first time he's made harsh comments about Kamala, especially given she was his direct opponent for the big seat in the White House during an intense year. However, what he said about her during his interview with Salem News Channel raised some eyebrows on social media. When talking about his debate against her, he said it felt like a "two-and-a-half against one" type of scenario.
President Trump then elaborated, stating, "Kamala is the half," adding, "I got two people plus a half against me."
Users expressed their confusion and anger over his statements in their responses on X.
"Half a person more than whatever subhuman sludge Trump pretends at being," one user clapped back.
"Donald Trump is actually incapable of talking about a person without insults or being demeaning," commented another. "He thinks he's all that when really he is nothing at all."
"Dehumanizing language reveals more about the speaker's character than any policy argument ever could," one user noted, as another speculated, "He's upset because Kamala called out his BS."
We'll be curious to see if the first female Vice President decides to run for office again during the next election, and if, until that potential day, she addresses the current president, referring to her as only 'half' a person.
