Last weekend, Donald Trump was invited to do the coin toss at the Army-Navy football game, but seemingly had never done one before—or at least that’s what social media is saying. The President’s coin toss didn’t result in a single flip of the coin, and users on X, formerly Twitter, have been particularly ruthless in poking fun. Keep reading for more information.

Donald Trump Fails At Coin Toss Attempt
It’s a long-standing tradition for sitting presidents to do the coin toss for the annual Army-Navy football game, which took place at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium this year. Of course, Donald Trump participated, but there hasn’t been much chatter about a coin toss until now.
After receiving the coin from a referee, Trump placed it in his palm and simply lofted it into the air, resulting in zero revolutions. The coin landed on tails in favor of the Army Black Knights, though the Navy Midshipmen ended up winning the game by a single point. Though there hasn’t been any commentary about the close game, instead, Trump’s coin toss has gone viral on social media.

Social Media Reactions
Barstool Sports posted a video clip of the event on their X account, which has over 40K likes and nearly 3,000 comments. Users haven't been too kind in their reactions, with one user tweeting, "He can't even flip a coin right," and another writing, "That looked like he was throwing a dead fish."
"This is like watching my 10 year old chuck a bluegill back," a third person agreed.
"Literally the worst coin toss ever," another person posted.
"Threw it up like he was attempting a lay up," joked the next user.
"Easily the most incompetent, corrupt President in our history to ever toss a coin," another user commented.
"Did it even flip once?" one person asked.
"Dude has never seen a coin toss before," a final user posted.
