Donald Trump Calls Gavin Newsom 'President Of The United States'

During a recent speech discussing California leadership, Trump verbally slipped up and referred to Governor Gavin Newsom, one of his high-profile political opponents, as the President of the United States.

"The President of the United States Gavin Newscum admitted that he has learning disabilities. Dyslexia. Everything about him is dumb," the president said in a speech, both getting the governor's position wrong and insulting his intelligence.

Newsom tweeted a response to the attack, slamming him for making fun of his learning disability. "T0 every kid with a learning disability: don't let anyone—not even the President of the United States—bully you," he tweeted.

"Dyslexia isn't a weakness," he added. "It's your strength."
