Donald Trump Jr. is reportedly “afraid” of what his ex, Kimberly Guilfoyle, may do now that she’s been asked to resign from her position as US ambassador to Greece. Following allegations from Eric Deters, former Kentucky congressional candidate and longtime Trump ally, that Guilfoyle begged him to pay off her credit card bill in exchange for access to her political connections, the Trump administration swiftly asked her to resign, but now that she has nothing to lose, Don Jr. is worried about what she might do next. Don Trump Jr. Is Reportedly 'Afraid' Of Kimberly Guilfoyle

According to Hollywood insider Rob Shuter, giving Guilfoyle the ambassadorship was ideal for Don Jr. "Don wants Kimberly in Greece, not back in his life in the USA," an insider told Shuter. "The ambassadorship was the perfect breakup gift. She got a glamorous title, and he got an ocean between them."

But, after the newest White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia revealed that Trump asked Guilfoyle to resign—"We have asked Ambassador Guilfoyle to resign. She has been a wonderful asset to the team, and we wish her well"—Don Jr. is reportedly "afraid" of what she might do next.

"Kimberly knows where the bodies are buried," another source told Shuter. "She spent years inside that family. She knows the secrets, the fights and the people who don’t want their private business made public."

"This isn’t love. It’s fear," the insider continued. "The last thing Don wants is an angry Kimberly back in America with nothing to lose and plenty to say."

His father may have made things even worse: at the White House on Tuesday, October 13, ABC News correspondent Rachel Scott pointed out that Guilfoyle "was almost like a member of your family."

"No, she wasn’t a member of my family," Trump responded. "She, I guess, dated my son a long time ago." Guilfoyle and Donald Trump Jr. were together for around six years, including four years of being engaged, and broke things off in the fall of 2024.

Kimberly Guilfoyle Begs Donor To Pay Her Credit Card Bill

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal and accusations from Eric Deters, former Kentucky congressional candidate and longtime Trump ally, Guilfoyle begged him to pay off her credit card debt, promising access to important Trump administration officials if he did so. "Honey please I need you to get this done for me to day," she wrote using the messaging app Signal. The message was sent on July 3, 2025, just days before her confirmation hearing before the Senate to become a U.S. Ambassador to Greece.

She then reportedly sent Deters wiring instructions so that he could wire $100k directly into her American Express account. "It won't show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express," she wrote. "Please."

On Friday, Deters sat for an interview with Good Morning America and furthered his allegations, calling their relationship "quid pro quo" and claiming that Guilfoyle promised to use her political connections to help him should he wire her the money.
