DJ Khaled Flaunts His Recent Weight Loss On Social Media & In A Super Bowl Commercial
The music producer has long been known for his larger-than-life persona and also for being a fairly large guy. Although he had never expressed much disappointment or insecurity regarding his weight, as he's entered a new phase of his life at 50, he decided to do something for his health.
DJ Khaled, whose full name is Khaled Mohammed Khaled, got to flaunt his weight loss during a commercial for Wegovy that aired during this year's Super Bowl, for which he also released a statement.
"I know what it's like to go hard in the gym, eat clean, stay disciplined – put in that work every single day, but still not see the results you want," he wrote. "I knew I wanted to work with Novo Nordisk because I'm a father, I'm a husband, and I want to be the best for my family. When you're trying to reach your goals, and you're looking for something more, having an option like Wegovy pill – that's powerful."
On his social media accounts, particularly on Instagram, he makes vlogs as he works out and shares some of his favorite workout methods.
"You either win with us, or you watch us win," he wrote in one of his captions. "I'm just getting started."

Fans React To DJ Khaled's Weight Loss Progress
Although he hasn't disclosed just how much weight he's lost, the New Orleans native has opened up about the exercises that have helped him make so much progress over the last few years, which include reaching a daily step count of 10,000-15,000 steps, playing more golf, and hitting the treadmill.
"Walk and golf," he posted on his Instagram stories. "I want the weight off, and it's coming off! I'm about to show up to greatness. And once you show up, you gotta put in that work. It's 10-15,000 steps a day, just like I said. I've been doing 15-20 a day, but as long as you get to 10-15, you're starting off your day incredibly. And everything after that is a bonus. Remember that!"
As he's been posting more and more pictures of his progress and transformation, his loyal fanbase has continued to hype him up in the comments, applauding how hard he's worked.
"Proud of you," commented a fan on Instagram.
One user wrote that Khaled was "locked in," as another added that they "love to see the transformation."
"This is awesome," added a fan. "Keep going."
