Carrie Underwood served so many head-turning looks on her first season as a judge on American Idol last year. And if possible, she seems to be outdoing herself this season already!
The “Hate My Heart” singer, 43, wore two glamorous gowns during the March 29th ‘Songs of Faith’ episode – which included a sensational performance of “How Great Thou Art” from Carrie herself – but one of them stood out even more for all the right reasons!

Carrie Underwood Turns Heads In A Floral Appliqué Dress On 'American Idol'
The American Idol winner, who was booed earlier this year amid ongoing backlash for performing at Donald Trump's inauguration, seemed totally unbothered in her flawless look. She stunned in a coral Job Dacon gown adorned with delicate 3D floral appliqués that cascaded down the bodice, gradually softening as they flowed into a lighter, blush-pink hue at the hem. Check out a full-length pic of Carrie in the dress here.
To quote Dacon's Instagram, the dress "features more than 10,000 individually hand-sewn silk petals laid on a buttery-soft illusion tulle to resemble a field of pink allamandas in bloom." Wow!
The mom-of-two paired the ethereal petal dress with Schutz heels, Anabela Chan earrings and rings, and EFFY Jewelry, which added just the right amount of sparkle without overshadowing the gown.
The "Jesus, Take The Wheel" hitmaker's dark blonde locks were styled in her signature center-parted, glossy curls, while her makeup was radiant and glamorous, featuring smoky eyes, pink cheeks, and natural lips.
Fan Comments
As we previously mentioned, Carrie has been facing backlash since performing at Trump's inauguration, which not only led to her being booed on stage, but also prompted The View's Joy Behar to protest by not attending the daytime talk show during her appearance. However, most people on social media were unanimous in their praise for this look!
"Beautiful Carrie," gushed one fan on Instagram, followed by the heart eyes and fire emojis. "A beauty!" exclaimed a second, in agreement, as a third echoed: "You look just heavenly."
"Gorgeous lady," praised a fourth, followed by three fire emojis. "Just stunning!" raved a fifth, as a sixth said: "Who can do it like Carrie? Nobody!"
"Beautiful dress," complimented a seventh, followed by the heart eyes emoji. "I absolutely love the dress," concurred an eighth, as a ninth chimed in: "That dress is goregeous!" "I love this dress on you," added a tenth.
