One of the most pressing topics in the nation right now is the ICE raids happening across the country, and Cardi B has something to say about it.

This week, while performing during the opening night of her “Little Miss Drama” tour, the famous rapper addressed the ongoing tensions between Americans and ICE agents, beginning to make threatening statements about all the things she’d do if any of the controversial agents showed up at her show. After stating that she would “jump” them and more, she immediately began receiving backlash online, especially from many of the president’s supporters. Read more about the situation below.

Cardi B Says She Would 'Jump' Any ICE Agents Who Showed Up At Her Concert During The Opening Night Of Her Tour

After making a surprise appearance at the Super Bowl, the "I Like It" rapper opened up her current tour, the "Little Miss Drama" tour, which will be making stops in arenas across the country this spring.

While on stage during night one in Palm Desert, California, she addressed an issue that's rattling the United States, which is the ongoing ICE agent raids in cities across the country, causing a lot of tension between not only residents and the agents, but also citizens and the American government.

As many celebrities continue to speak out about the issue, Cardi decided to as well, but did it in her own, signature way. In viral footage from her show, the mom-of-three said that "if ICE comes in here," she would "jump" them.

"I've got some bear mace in the back," she added. "They ain't taking my fans!"

Social Media Users React To Cardi's Statements Online

Cardi B certainly is not the first highly publicised star to make a statement or speak out about the ongoing and controversial ICE raids happening in cities like Minneapolis, especially following the murders of Renee Good and  Alex Pretti. However, she is one of the few stars to threaten agents with violence in such a public forum.

While there were many of her fans, both at the concert and online, who cheered her on, as likely suspected, it did not sit well with numerous social media users, especially those who have been supporting President Donald Trump and his immigration policies.

"She should be arrested for calling for violence against law enforcement officers!" wrote a user on X.

Another X user called the "WAP" performer "another woke celebrity encouraging violence," while one added that she's "she's not playing safe" with her statements.

"Emotions are high, but calling for violence isn't the answer," a user commented. "We can disagree without escalating things."
