“It all started in 2003… we looked at each other and we were like, ‘Oh my God, it’s over,’” she said, referring to the rise of camera phones and constant public attention. “That was our last night—we were like, let’s go take advantage of it.”

Cameron Diaz Welcomes Third Child
While Cameron has recently stepped back into the spotlight after more than a decade away, she’s also been quietly growing her family with husband Benji Madden. This week, the couple revealed they’ve welcomed their third child—a baby boy named Nautus—on May 4.
Benji shared the news on Instagram, writing, “Cameron and I are happy, excited, and feeling so blessed to announce the birth of our third child, Nautus Madden. Welcome to the world, son!! We love life with our family—our kids are healthy and happy, and we are grateful!!! Having a blast. Sending all our best wishes.”
The couple are already parents to daughter Raddix, born in 2019, and son Cardinal, born in 2024.
The mom of three has spoken candidly about becoming a mother later in life. In the YouTube series No Filter, she reflected, “Having a family when you’re young… it’s like anything when you’re young: you just do it. But when you’re my age and you decide to do it, it’s a real choice. You really have to work hard for it.”
She added a bit of humor to the conversation by mentioning aging, saying, “The only pressure for me now is I have to live to be 107. No pressure!”
