Bruce Springsteen has been an outspoken critic of Trump since his first administration, and this time around, he’s even gone as far as to launch an anti-Trump tour called the Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour. While certainly a good thought, the 76-year-old opted to use dynamic pricing for his ticket sales, which has lent itself to prices in the thousands for a single ticket. Bruce Springsteen's Anti-Trump Tour Is Costly

Last month, the "Born to Run" singer announced the launch of his tour while calling out Trump. "We are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times," he said in a video posted to his Instagram account. "But do not despair, the cavalry is coming. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be taking the stage this spring from Minneapolis to California to Texas to Washington, DC, for the Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour."

"We will be rocking your town in celebration and in defense of America, American democracy, American freedom, our American Constitution and our sacred American dream — all of which are under attack by our wannabe king and his rogue government in Washington, DC," he continued. "Everyone, regardless of where you stand or what you believe in, is welcome. So come on out and join the united free republic of E Street nation for an American spring of rock and rebellion. I'll see you there."

However, upon investigating costs to attend the tour, fans are finding ticket prices in the thousands for a single seat, with one X user posting a screenshot of ticket options ranging from $2,468 to $9,640. Nearly everyone can agree—that's way too high!

Social Media Reactions

Fans of Bruce took to social media to share their distress over the cost of the concert tickets. "If this concert is meant to be a political statement, dynamic pricing makes no sense," one person wrote in his comment section. "It feels contradictory to defend democracy while playing by pure free-market rules where money decides everything. Big fan and I’m in for a reasonable price, but I can’t help thinking about those who can’t play this game."

"It’s so sad for anyone that’s a huge fan of yours and wants so very badly to see you in concert," another person commented. "But just can't afford these ticket prices ! Especially now when the economy is so bad. I thought that you if anyone would really understand what I’m saying because you yourself talk about making this world more affordable to live in."

"He is being so greedy!" another user agreed, and the next wrote, "These ticket prices are ridiculous."

"He used to be for the working man!" pointed out a final fan.
