Fans are newly concerned for Britney Spears after the 44-year-old was spotted hanging out of her car in Los Angeles last week. Though the car was not moving, eye witnesses saw Spears with her torso hanging out of the sunroof of her car while stopped in traffic. This is not the first time the mother-of-two has made questionable choices behind the wheel, in fact this comes just a few months after she was arrested on the suspicion of a DUI. Now, fans are begging the Oops I Did It Again singer to “seek help.” Keep reading for more information.

Britney Spears Posts Photos Of Her On The Freeway

After photos of her hanging out of her sunroof went viral on social media, Spears decided to post the photo to her own Instagram account, addressing the controversy head-on. The blurry shot shows Britney’s signature blonde locks waving in the wind as she holds herself up on the roof of the car, her full torso clearing the sun roof of her black Mercedes-Benz SUV.

The next photo in her post is of herself curled up in fetal position with a blur-green filter over it, seemingly completely unrelated to the driving incident.

“What people see is two seconds of insanity of me arching me to the lords !!!!!!” Spears captioned the post. “Yet the days and hours of my reality !!!!!! Nothing is what it seems. Psss I think I need to come out of the roof quite a bit more,” she added, along with a select few emojis.

Social Media Reactions

Across social media platforms, fans have raised concerns over Spears' mental health, wondering if she is even fit to be driving. "I hope you keep seeking help Britney, put yourself first & your sons," one fan wrote on Instagram.

"Sadly I think this is going to be another Hollywood tragedy," another user posted.

"Everyone wanted to 'Free Britney,'" a third comment reads, referencing the 2021 movement to terminate Spears' conservatorship under her father. "What do you think now?"

"Isn't anyone in her immediate world concerned for her safety?" asked another user.

"Britney, we love you," a final user wrote. "Please stay inside the car."
