On Wednesday, March 4th, Britney Spears was driving in Ventura, California, when someone spotted her "erratic" driving that was concerning enough to report to law enforcement. Officer then reported that she "showed signs of impairment."
According to a press release, Britney was driving a "black BMW 430i" when she was reported for "driving erratically at a high rate of speed." Officers pulled spears over and made the following observations: "The solo occupant, Ms. Spears, showed signs of impairment and submitted to a series of field sobriety tests."
She was then "arrested for a violation of California Vehicle Code section 23152(g), driving under the influence of a combination of drugs and alcohol." Currently, the incident is still under investigation—chemical test results are pending. In the time since the incident occurred, Spears has deleted her Instagram account.
