Barack and Michelle Obama Share Flirty Video In Honor Of National Book Lovers’ Day
On August 9th, the country celebrated literature and those who love to read with National Book Lovers’ Day, including the former 44th president and his wife.
On Instagram, team members shared a video from the married duo in honor of the holiday on behalf of the Obama Presidential Center, which opened on Chicago’s South Side earlier this summer on June 19th. The center includes a museum, sports fields, restaurants, and more, as well as a large library where tourists and local residents can pick from a selection of stories.
In the video, Barack and Michelle can be seen standing in the presidential center wearing coordinating black outfits when a member of their social media team asked them what their favorite books in the library’s reading room were. Barack immediately responds with “Becoming,” the title of Michelle’s acclaimed memoir.
After laughing together, she responds, “Oh yeah,” as he says, “That was easy.”
