Angelina Jolie reportedly claimed that she would only stay in Los Angeles until her youngest children – 17-year-old twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Léon – turned 18.
And the 50-year-old Oscar-winning actress really was true to her word, as she has officially listed her mansion just two months before their 18th birthday on July 12th. Seems like she doesn’t want to hang around any longer than she has to!

Angelina Jolie Lists Los Angeles Estate For $29.9M
According to reports, the Maria star has officially placed her six bedroom, 10 bathroom estate, which she has lived in since splitting from Brad Pitt, on the market for $29.9M.
The estate was originally designed by architect B. Cooper Corbett in 1913 and was once owned by legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille. The property reportedly spans nearly two acres and boasts a fitness studio, tea house, guest studio, and pool house, along with stunning views of the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Observatory. But apparently, it still isn't enough to tempt her to stay in Los Angeles!

Angelina Jolie Is 'Excited' To Leave Los Angeles
During a 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Atelier Jolie founder said she felt that Los Angeles lacked "humanity," and explained that she was only staying there for the sake of her children while they were still minors.
"I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they're 18, I'll be able to leave. When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety," she told the publication at the time.
"She didn't have a choice because of the custody arrangement with Brad," a source previously told People, adding: "She's eyeing several locations abroad. She'll be very happy when she's able to leave Los Angeles."
"She's ready for a life that isn't centered in Los Angeles," the source continued, adding that her next move could also open the door to exciting professional opportunities. "There are a lot of projects she's very excited about and she's feeling good. She's looking forward to 2026 and the flexibility she'll have then," they added.

Will Angelina Jolie Move To Europe?
The Maleficent star hasn't confirmed where she will be moving to, or whether her other U.S. properties will eventually be sold. However, she has reportedly mentioned that her New York City apartment serves as a temporary residence for her children.
If rumors are to be believed, the mom-of-six could very well follow in the footsteps of Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O'Donnell and relocate to Europe, especially as she has previously said that she no longer recognizes the U.S.
She spoke about her desire to leave the U.S. entirely at the San Sebastián International Film Festival last September and addressed the country's political turmoil, especially following Donald Trump's return to the White House. She said: "Anything, anywhere that divides or limits personal expressions and freedoms, I think, is very dangerous." She added: "I don't, at this time, recognize my country. I've always lived internationally. My family is international. My life, my worldview, is equal [and] united."
There is also speculation that she could eventually return to Cambodia, where she adopted eldest son Maddox in 2002. She has previously called the country the one place "in my heart" that she considers home. We're excited to see what's next for her!
