Beyoncé has fans talking about her hair after making a public appearance alongside her mother, Tina Knowles, and Kelly Rowland at a special event in Houston, Texas.
The singer attended the grand opening of the Knowles-Rowland House last week, joining her family and former Destiny’s Child bandmate to celebrate the official ribbon-cutting for the redeveloped housing assistance facility in Midtown Houston.
For the occasion, Beyoncé wore a taupe-colored ruched wrap dress paired with leopard-print pumps. She styled her blonde hair in a long, voluminous blowout with a deep side part. The bouncy hairstyle cascaded down toward her waist, completing her polished look.

Beyoncé Fans React To Her Hairstyle In New Appearance
However, while Beyoncé’s outfit caught attention, some fans focused on her hair, with several criticizing the styling and suggesting that her glam team could have done a better job.
“Beyoncé said, ‘Just hand me any wig today,’ lol,” one person joked.
Another commenter wrote, “I hate Beyoncé’s hair. It’s time for a new invention.”
One fan was particularly critical, writing, “She owns a hair care company, for God’s sake. Her glam team needs to be written up for that hair. No shade, and I don’t wanna hear anything about the heat.”
"She’s well overdue for a new look," added another.

"The humidity in Houston must have been atrocious today," one person noted," and another responded to the comment saying, "I was going to say all of their hair looks big and dry."
The criticism was especially notable given that Beyoncé launched her own hair care brand, Cécred, in February 2024. Pronounced “sacred,” the brand was inspired in part by the singer’s childhood experiences in her mother Tina Knowles’ Houston hair salon, Headliners.

Beyoncé Launches Cécred Hair Care Line
Cécred focuses on hair health, scalp care, and repair, offering products such as shampoos, conditioners, scalp treatments, and hair oils. Its launch marked a personal milestone for the mom of three, who has spoken about the importance of hair care and the role it has played in her family’s history.
She has openly shared her personal battle with psoriasis and how her father used to apply medicinal oils to her scalp when she was young, which directly influenced the development of the brand's clarifying scrubs and scalp treatments.
Maintaining 25 years of color-treated and blonde natural hair through countless stage styles, weaves, and braids drove her focus.
While some fans were unimpressed with her latest hairstyle, the online reactions reflect how closely Beyoncé’s beauty choices are scrutinized—even at an appearance celebrating a meaningful community initiative.
